The 2019 “Celebrate Life!” Benefit Dinner took place on two separate evenings: Thursday 11/7 and Saturday 11/9. It was surely an event to remember. We are thankful to all of our speakers, especially our Guest Speaker, Bob Goff, who presented a clear and valuable message about how we can make an impact by loving others through putting our love into action! We are also grateful for our clients, who courageously shared their stories with us about how the ministry blessed them and encouraged them to choose LIFE! LEARN MORE ABOUT NEW LIFE SOLUTIONS Supported Outreaches “Celebrate Life” Benefit Dinner supports A Woman’s Place Medical Clinic, More2Life Youth Development Program and Passages of Hope Abortion Recovery Outreach A Woman’s Place Medical Clinic offers no-cost health services and support to women who may be experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We educate on all options to help empower women to make healthy decisions. Services include pregnancy testing, STI testing, limited ultrasounds, information counseling, Well Woman exams, parenting classes, and more. More2Life is a Youth Development Program that reaches students in grades 5 – 12 in public schools, Christian schools & summer camps. The presentations cover topics including goal setting, influences, consequences and healthy relationships. Passages of Hope Abortion Recovery is a program that serves both women and men who have experienced abortion(s) in their past. Bible studies are 9-weeks long and are held in churches, local jail, and Salvation Army. Other services offered include young adult/teen outreach, The Path to Sexual Healing study, and the Deeper Still retreat program. Our 2019 Keynote Speaker Our Guest Keynote Speaker was Bob Goff, author of the New York Times Best-Selling book, Love Does , which shares its name with the non-profit organization he founded. Bob Goff is the New York Times Best-Selling Author of Love Does, as well as an attorney who founded Love Does, a nonprofit human rights organization operating in Uganda, India, Nepal, Iraq and Somalia. Bob is a sought after speaker for leadership, church and university events, inspiring current and future influencers to get to the “do” part of life. Choosing to live audaciously, Bob connects to audiences in a powerfully inspirational, yet down to earth manner. Love Does has now been translated into ten languages! Bob has pioneered the vision of Love Does(formerly Restore International) to fight for freedom and human rights, working to improve educational opportunities and to be helpful to those in need of a voice and a friend. Love Does has worked with Uganda’s judiciary in bringing over 200 cases to trial, as well as pursuing justice, intervention and education for at risk women and children in Uganda, India, Nepal, Iraq and Somalia. Restore Leadership Academy in Northern Uganda educates over 300 students with a focus on character and leadership development. Because of Bob’s vision and the work of Love Does, he serves as the Hon. Consul for the Republic of Uganda to the United States. Bob continues to be inspired by friendships he’s developed with others around the world who live their lives pursuing strategic ways to help others. As an attorney, Bob shares leadership in a Washington law firm, Goff & DeWalt. He is also a professor at Pepperdine Law School and Point Loma Nazarene University. In 2020, we will have two Benefit Dinner evenings: In Tampa, Florida at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC on Thursday November 5, 2020 In St. Petersburg, Florida at the Historic St. Petersburg Coliseum on Saturday November 7, 2020 Check back in Summer 2020 for more information about registration! Will both dinners have the same program? Yes; although there are two separate evenings at different locations, the program will be identical, so simply choose the date and location that works best for YOU! Who is New Life Solutions? New Life Solutions, Inc. is the Ministry Head of More2Life Youth Development Program, A Woman’s Place Medical Clinics, Passages of Hope Abortion Recovery Program, Shepherd’s Village Single-Parent Residential Ministry, and Breath of Life Women’s Health and Birth Center. Whether there is a client facing an unplanned pregnancy, a teen developing skills toward a healthy life, or a woman or man who needs healing from a past abortion– we are here to support these precious lives and help lead them toward a bright future. Thursday evening is Business Professional Attire Saturday evening is Semi-Formal Attire Is there a cost for this event? There is no cost to attend this event or to Host & fill a table of 10 (ten) guests. There will be an appeal at the end of the evening to donate to the ministries of New Life Solutions. What is a Table Host? A Table Host reserves a table of ten and invites their friends and family that have a heart for the mission and message of New Life Solutions to fill the seats! There is no cost to host a table, but reservation is required. Are there individual seats available? Yes, there are individual seats available at the event, but registration is required!
